What We Are Building
A purpose-built, multi-storey Islamic Centre designed to serve the needs of Citec Estate and the surrounding Mbora community.
Main Prayer Hall
700m² ground-floor prayer hall with capacity for 870 worshippers, separate women's gallery (200m²), Minaret, Mimbar and two entrance foyers
Islamiyyah & Library
Two-storey Islamiyyah block with multiple classrooms, dedicated library, office space, and separate staff rooms for male and female teachers
Imam's Residence
Purpose-built residential apartment for the Chief Imam — two floors with bedrooms, living areas, and kitchen within the compound
Shops Block
Commercial units along the access road to generate sustainable rental income for the long-term maintenance and operation of the Centre
Ablution Facilities
Dedicated ablution/wudu block with separate male and female sections, modern toilets, and wash facilities — all purpose-built
Parking & Landscaping
Generous on-site parking areas, gate house, workers' accommodation, and landscaped grounds across the full compound

Construction Drawings Approved
The full architectural design — including 3D renders and 2D floor plans — has been approved by the project committee. The proposed Islamic Centre will accommodate 870 worshippers and include an Islamiyyah block, Imam's residence, shops, and ablution facilities.
Find The Masjid
The current Citec Estate Mosque is at No. 1, E-Road, Mbora District, Jabi Airport Road Bye Pass, FCT Abuja. All five daily prayers, Jumu'ah, and community programmes are held here while the new Islamic Centre is being built.
